Mullen was for the troop surge in Iraq too. He says it worked. Violence is down significantly and the gains there are holding, though they could be reversed if we carelessly withdrawal too many troops, too soon.
If Obama and other anti-war Dems had their way last year, the surge never would have occured and al Qaida in Iraq wouldn't have been crushed.
BTW, Mullen was the guy who fired Admiral Joe Sestak for "poor command climate." As a congressman, Sestak also argued against the surge in Iraq. Given it's success, sounds like Mullen was right to get rid of him. Sestak obviously makes a better Democratic congressman, than military advisor.
Lol... Dave bases his support on a candidates's level of irrational vicious partisanship.
Maybe this surge in Afgahn will work as well as the surge did in Iraq -although the bitter Daves sill refuse to admit that it worked wonderfuly there. Lol... That petty bitterness is funny...
You should have most of your posts deleted just for the blatant and calculated dishonesty and slander you display in them, like this one here, Dishonest Dave.
And stop stealing my stuff. I called Boring Bob your Mini Me weeks ago. If you can't be creative on your own, don't go using material.
Dishonesty, slander, pilfering… Nah, you’re not an integrity lacking liar, a pathetic shell of a man. Lol…
Umm, you forgot to address the part where you lie and slander, DDD. Not that there's really any defending that. I'm guessing that you're used to being called a liar, even outside of this blog place.

ReplyDeleteMore word games from our resident liar, Spinzie. Increasing troop levels -no matter from where they come- is a troop surge.
ReplyDeleteHehe...
