While dopey Lib sheep just go along with whatever the Lib powers tell them to believe. Take yourself for instance: You have never posted anything here that was original or insightful, that displayed independent critical thinking ability on your part. Ever. No, all we have ever seen from you are canned LibDem talking points. Mostly the dishonest ones, at that. You = follower. What more proof do we need.

Liberals in Congress have been salivating for years at the chance to silence the Rightie talk radio by bringing back this Commie-esque policy. And now they’ll have a friend in the Oval Office to do so.
During his campaign Obama was notorious for bullying the Press. This culminated when he threw off his plane reporters from newspapers who dared to (GASP!) not endorse him here in this democracy. This was just setting the stage for more Media controls as it sent a message that all who fail to tow his line will be cut off. Any who fail to treat him like a hate crime victim on a witness stand and spin his failed policies positive to the People will be shunned.
This is what you folks voted for. Don’t say you weren’t warned.
What we need is a Fairness Doctrine to rein in the Liberal Media’s blatant abuses.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5463472772679876402.post-53110583894188787392008-11-06T08:46:00.000-05:002008-11-06T08:46:00.000-05:00I'll take a fairness doctrine if it guarantees tha...I'll take a fairness doctrine if it guarantees that Kidd Chris returns to morning radio in Philadelphia...steve mcdonaldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06475435322052587508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5463472772679876402.post-14645071656938995132008-11-05T18:36:00.000-05:002008-11-05T18:36:00.000-05:00Baloney! They've been parodies of themselves for years, much as Keith Olbermann has become a self-parody more recently. I'll bet there are plenty of "liberals" who couldn't give a rat's ass whether those programs are "balanced." I can't speak for all liberals, but most of those I know would rather listen to music or something informative rather than bloviating pundits on talk radio whipping their bases into frothing idiots.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5463472772679876402.post-67269575651742587802008-11-05T12:04:00.000-05:002008-11-05T12:04:00.000-05:00To Brave Anonymous:Soldiers are allowed to listen ...To Brave Anonymous:

Soldiers are allowed to listen to NPR if they want. The problem will be is that if you censor conservative radio for purposes of creating balance, you will be inhibiting free speech. Also remember that what you seek to get rid of today will come back to get rid of you tomorrow.

The better solution is to do nothing and let the market dictate what is on the radio. Liberal talk radio is weak and it doesn't sell advertising. If they produce a better product than Rush, Glenn Beck, or Hannity, then beat them in the marketplace and throw them off the air. Beware of govt regulation of the content of speech.

C.
