Your Morning Constitutional

Neal Boortz raises some pretty good questions about Hillarycare.

Including this one:

"Just where in our Constitution does the federal government acquire the right – the power – to force free citizens to purchase anything, let alone a health insurance policy."

That’s $110 Billion annually!

Republican skeptics say it would be too invasive and would restrict personal freedom and choice. Liberal Democrats have expressed concern that such a mandate would be too financially burdensome for lower-income individuals and families

As is the case with every short-sighted, feel-good Socialist Liberal “solution”, they end up hurting the very people they’re trying to help ...while sticking us with the bill for their misguided emotional dogoodism.

Vote Democrat and watch as our once proud nation becomes a Socialist craphole. You have been warned.

I asked some of these questions when John Edwards proposed his government run health care. How about these points:

-$110 billion annually today, but what while it be 10 years from now. Health care costs are spiraling out of control, if it's not government run and left to the private health care companies, what's to stop that $110 billion from tripling the year after this plan goes into effect?

-Hillary and the crew love to complain about Halliburton and how much government money they make as a private contractor. Who will be the Halliburton of the health insurance industry?

Can’t someone make the scary lady go away? Every time she makes a campaign speech she wants to control something else in my life. Socialized medicine doesn’t work well anywhere in the world but lets try it here just in case. It’s just frightening that so many people are on board with her.

There is nothing in the Constitution that allows this type of power grab. However, when challenged, I am sure that the left wing loons will find a loony judge that will create a right in the federal government to force everyone to have health care.

That is what happened with abortion and sodomy, the Courts created rights that aren't in the Constitution.
