Don't Tase Me, Bro!

There are 150 reasons why police departments might want to rethink the use of stun guns.

Who else is sick and tired of all the Liberal misplaced sympathy for criminals?
‘Oh, the police shouldn’t shoot them.’ So they taser them. Now it’s ‘The police shouldn’t tase them.’
Well, Boo-hoo.
Hey, here’s an idea: Don’t be a scumbag criminal and you won’t ever have to worry about being shot or tased by the cops. Pretty simple.

Also, cruel and unusual crime is deserving of cruel and unusual punishment. F em.

Sure, go back to the days of big black night sticks. People died from them too and they cause a lot more injuries.

The taser works good so Amnesty International wants to take that away from the Police.

As far as I'm aware there are very few, if any, in custody deaths that are directly caused by the Taser. It is listed as a contributing factor in many deaths, but is not the sole cause of death. The person may die from cardiac arrest after being tased, but the other contributing factors can't be ignored. If they were fighting with several officers, subjected to blunt force trauma from night sticks and other strikes from officers, had high levels of alcohol or illegal drugs in the blood stream, continued to struggle while in handcuffs, were kicking police car and cell doors and windows and were never tased, the outcome could still be the same, but it won't make this study.

The taser prevents more injuries and deaths than it causes. Ask some cops about dealing with people on PCP before they had tasers.

This entire pro-criminal/anti-cop atitude in our society these days is disgusting. Look no further than the lack of respect displayed for police in Philly where scumbags think nothing of shooting at cops anymore.
And BS "studies" like this along with the Lib Media giving undue time to cop-haters are driving it. Irresponsible misuse of free speech...

I saw a picture the other day of a cop, who was handcuffed in the front, and he was holding an old "wheel gun" revolver in one hand and this tiny little flashlight in the other hand.

The picture was over an article about how the Police can be "handcuffed" when non-police administrators make decisions about policy or equipment that negatively impact the officers. The people making the decisions have no idea what the right tool for the job is and really don't care because they are never in a position to use a "tool".

Right. And the decision makers are playing to the PR politics of the anti-cop crowd. First they took away night sticks and big flash lights, now all this hollow noise will ultimately lead to the removal of tasers from their crime fighting tool box too. Some Libs won’t be happy until cops are completely disarmed.

I post on other boards where I have seen the amateur Liberal mindset on display. And believe me when I tell you that when seen in all its raw, unpolished-for-prime-time glory, Libs are the most hate-filled creatures on earth. And they almost always target that hatred at exactly the wrong target. In this case, cops. Misplaced sympathies of the Feelings crowd are a bitch.

The criminals are winning. Thank a Lib and a lawyer. Wake the F up, folks.

Don't liberals believe that being a criminal is just another adjective for being a victim of an oppressive society?

Yeah, Libs don’t believe in things like consequences for poor life choices either. It's always someone else's fault.

The people who want to get rid of the taser are the same people crying about crime rates and murders. They make sure the Police are under staffed, under equipped, under funded, over extended and then wonder why crime rates are going up.

Every societal problem can be traced to Liberalism. Every single one. And they lie to us all along the way. I can show you with any topic. I can spot that filthy lying Libism a mile away.

I don't have any problems with the use of taser guns, especially if used on Gil Spencer.

Its easy to say "Ban the taser!" What's the alternative then? Like others said, nightsticks? Pepper spray, which is ineffective and contaminates everything and everyone in the room?

I'm all for taser use in the right circumstances. Some of the use has been offensive. Refusing to sign for a speeding ticket? Not getting off the phone fast enough.
"Do this or I will tase you" the police demand. Law abiding citizens possibly tased for what would end up being a summary offense disturbs me, yes.
I am a Republican, ex elected official who now lives in Newtown Square. Flame me all you want.
