A New Low

I missed this when I was on vacation.

But isn't it amazing what George Bush has caused our enemies to sink to?

Yes, considering there were NO suicide attacks in Baghdad by Al Qaeda before our enlightened leader launched a war based on lies, I'd say that's quite an accomplishment.

snarkmaster,
You are so correct. The lies that Russian intelligence, MI6, and even the NIA agreed with. Who cares that when the NIA issues a report saying Iran has no nukes, every liberal says Bush is lying when he was going by what the NIA said when we went into Iraq.

It's easy to be right when you cherry pick data.

Gee Snarky, I think you misread the story.

Those women with Down syndrome didn't commit suicide. They were wired up with bombs by Osama lovers and blown up by remote.

Is it any wonder the Iraqi people are so sick of al Qaida and their disgusting barbarity that they are reaching across ethnic divides to join our side to wipe them out of their country?

Spin-cerblog,

You missed the point. As bad as Saddam was, things were more civilized in Iraq before the invasion. Nobody denies that there are elements in Islam that are babaric and extreme, but these elements did not exist there before the "Biggest militaty blunder" in U.S. history.

Regardless of the mental capacity of those unfortunate women, fact is there were no bombings of any kind by Al Qaeda before the invasion.

Trying to give Bush any credit for a change in tactic is dubious at best.

To Snarkmaster:

Things were more civilized in Iraq prior to the invasion? Are you Rumplestiltskin?

Chronicle of the atrocities committed by Saddam Hussein:

Hussein's regime killed, tortured, raped and terrorized the Iraqi people and its neighbors for over two decades.

Hundreds of thousands of people died as a result of Saddam's actions.

Saddam had approximately 40 of his own relatives murdered.

1980-88: Iran-Iraq war left 150,000 to 340,000 Iraqis and 450,000 to 730,000 Iranians dead.

1983-1988: Documented chemical attacks by Iraqi regime caused some 30,000 Iraqi and Iranian deaths.

1988: Chemical attack on Kurdish village of Halabja killed approximately 5,000 people.

1987-1988: Iraqi regime used chemical agents in attacks against at least 40 Kurdish villages.

1990-91: 1,000 Kuwaitis were killed in Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.

1991: Bloody suppression of Kurdish and Shi'a uprisings in northern and southern Iraq killed at least 30,000 to 60,000. At least 2,000 Kurdish villages were destroyed during the campaign of terror.

2001: Amnesty International report: "Victims of torture in Iraq are subjected to a wide range of forms of torture, including the gouging out of eyes, severe beatings and electric shocks... some victims have died as a result and many have been left with permanent physical and psychological damage."

Human Rights Watch: Saddam's 1987-1988 campaign of terror against the Kurds killed at least 50,000 and possibly as many as 100,000 Kurds.
Refugees International: "Oppressive government policies have led to the internal displacement of 900,000 Iraqis."

Iraq's 13 million Shiite Muslims, the majority of Iraq's population of approximately 22 million, faced severe restrictions on their religious practice.

FBI: Iraqi government was involved in a plot to assassinate former President George Bush during his April 14-16, 1993, visit to Kuwait.

Yes, yes Rumplesnarkskin, much more civilized before we Americans invaded and screwed everything up.

Oops, we left out the shredder Uday used to use to throw his rape victims into. If there was a word to describe Iraq pre-invasion "civilized" would be it.

And Spence, you stray from the original post. I agree that Saddam and his sons tortured the populace, never said he was a good guy.

Now tell me again how Al Qaeda wound up in Iraq?

Oh, and since you are so good at digging up stats on a regime's brutality, please list the ones commited by the North Korean regime, then explain why we did not invade them.

I stray. You stray. We all stray. For Uday.

Al Qaida? We sucked them into Iraq. Now, we're killing them -- and with the help of both Sunni and Shia Iraqis who are sick of them. They're on our side now.

As for Kim Jong Il. First Iran. Then North Korea. No al Qaida in North Korea.

Oh, enough with the shrill Bush-haters weeping about how “Bush lied!” to get us into Iraq. All of the worlds bright minds, along with three presidential administrations and Congress, all had access to the same intelligence and thought there were WMDs in Iraq.
Hell, there are quotes all over the internet that show Dem god Slick Willie expressing his deep concern for Saddam having WMDs and saying how at some point someone will have to do something about it. He should have handled it …but it didn’t poll well. Funny how the Dishonest Angry Left neglects to ever mention these things as they elect instead to repeat their shrill lies.

And King George deserves a great deal of credit for ending our little Cold War with North Korea. Not that the Left or Lying Lib Media would ever give him credit for anything positive.

If the terrorists want retards that are willing to help them impede progress in Iraq, tell them we have plenty here in the DNC already doing their part. Or they can just wait until next year since a couple of em are presently running for president.

"As for Kim Jong Il. First Iran. Then North Korea. No al Qaida in North Korea."

Hey, let's add Cuba and Myammar to the list. Oh, they don't have "nuklear" programs you say? What about those human rights abuses, just like Saddam used to do to his own people?

Let's just invade everyone no matter if it will bleed our country dry financially and at the cost of lives.

Randal, they put a lid on that little Cold War with North Korea by reverting back to the same policies used by the previous administration. Bush ain't that bright.

3960 - Current U.S. military deaths in IRAQ since a war based on faulty intelligence (lies) was started.

100,000 - Cost of IRAQ war per minute

9.2 - National debt in trillons

Everything these guys have touched has turned to crap. Everyone knows it know except for the 25% of dead-enders that refuse to believe otherwise.

Like I said: “Not that the Left or Lying Lib Media would ever give him credit for anything positive.”

And the surge has been a complete failure, eh, Snark? I think you suffer from HateBushaphobia as many Leftie do and it has caused you to become blinded by hate.

Are you onea them extreme irrational Bush-haters that doesn’t even want us to win in Iraq?
