Why Don't More Pols Admit Mistakes?

Nice admission from John McCain for being wrong in opposing a holiday for Martin Luther King Jr.

Of course, he was booed for making it. But if you listen closely you hear an unmistakably black voice say "We all make mistakes."

Generous and gracious. Both of them.

  2. MLK Day is crap. It is an affirmative action holiday. And compliance has been bullied and coerced. Ask many whites what they think of it and the honest ones would tell you the same. But it's ok to oppose it, seeing how this is still America and we're all free to think the way we want, much to the chagrin of Libs.

Baloney. A few rednecks maybe. But not most.

  5. It is the only "holiday" that had to be coerced upon the nation to force compliance and participation.
To many people the guy is not a saint. He wasn't. And he doesn't deserve that absurdly expensive affirmative action memorial on the Mall in DC either. He should not be enshrined among presidents.

  9. Umm, that’s why I picked another black figure of mythical proportions in a funny suit.
    Try to keep up, Dave.
