Letter of the Week

Dear Mr. Spencer,

What the (insert an expletive here) is going on in Newtown Square and more importantly how could this happen? In addition to the 8M(illion dollars in) road improvements that BPG was going to provide (which now will be funded by taxpayers) I understand that BPG was going to provide the property access to sewer hook up free of charge to the town. Now we will have to purchase property to build a sewage treatment plant. Who pays for the plant?

Taxpayers? I just heard that this property will be purchased from Claude "the fraud" de Botton.!!! (Sorry, this "he has a dream BS is just that.BS). Say this isn't so. This is just wrong! There doesn't seem to be any 'red tape' when it comes to something Claude wants. Change from his original "Big Box" plan to a Town Center. No problem. Traffic study, not necessary. What can we do to stop this? Can we bring a lawsuit against our Supervisors and demand this be taken to a referendum?

Frustrated and ready to move,

Donna Sullivan
