Planet of the Apes

Spain grants great apes rights to "life and freedom."

"This is a historic day in the struggle for animal rights and in defense of our evolutionary comrades, which will doubtless go down in the history of humanity," said Pedro Pozas, Spanish director of the Great Apes Project.

Meanwhile, in Africa, tens of thousands of our "evolutionary comrades" better known as human beings, are being slaughtered by a ruthless dictator named Robert Mugabe. What do our Spanish brothers propose to do about it?

Nothing. And neither do we. Apparently, we've evolved past such humanitarian interventions.

What’s next? Giving the apes the right to vote? Let’s watch as they start marching and singing for equality and their long overdue civil rights. But then they won’t want to show ID at the voting booth because it will remind them of the days when they were denied their rights…

So you assume, DD, that the monkeys would blindly vote species the same way blacks blindly vote race? Hehehe…

And show some respect for your President.

And that BS about McCain being Bush’s third term is getting old too.
See how your "humor" relies on hatred and dishonesty (just like your "arguments"!). Get some new material.

Obama is a Muslim. Or since he’s the son of one he’s a half Muslim. And he was schooled as one… Maybe Obama’s not a secret Muslim; maybe he’s a wannabe Musilm… So what’s wrong with calling Barry (changed to Barrack to sound more Muslim) Hussein Obama by his name? If GWB’s middle name were Hitler you’d be using it in every post about him. And he’s so radically Liberal he hates America.

If you’re embarrassed about all this maybe you should reconsider him being your candidate? I mean, who the heck would vote for someone like that?

I already told ya, I'm just playing by the Lying LibDem no rules game.
Funny how I've never seen hypocrite you put any effort into correcting misconceptions spread about Bush.

Oh, and Obama is a Muslim with very questionable loyalties. But then, you also have very questionable loyalties, so...

I've grown tired of the Obama = muslim & Hussein references. Fox News happily alludes to each, hard-righters stress both to scare people, it's truly unnecessary. As Smerconish put it "They's accused him of everything short of dumping the first gator into the NYC sewers"

McCain and the third Bush Term is Bull$hit, he;s our best chance of the two at having a moderate attempt at unity. And the 100 years in Iraq is terribly unfair. Why not exhume Harry TRuman and hang his corpse for our continued bases in Germany and South Korea? Does this mean that WWII and the Korean War are still going on?
