Cajoling: The New Torture

Upper Darby murder suspect mouthpiece accuses cops of doing excellent police work.

"The attorney for Ramir Steve, charged in the shooting death of a cab driver early last Christmas Eve, is charging his client was "cajoled" by police into giving an incriminating statement and he is seeking to have it barred from use at trial."

According to the Kenerman English Multilingual Dictionary: cajole means "to coax (someone into doing something), often by flattery.
Example: The little girl cajoled her father into buying her a new dress."

No doubt Steve's civil rights were violated. And that manipulative little girl ought to be spanked and sent to bed without any dinner.

Challenging scumbag criminal confessions has become a common grasping tactic for lowlife defense lawyers. It’s trendy now. We need to outlaw this dishonest game and balance the scales of justice.

"Cajoled" Gil? I just got done watching The Boondock Saints on DVD for the hundredth time. This cretin needs to be 86'ed, no bones about it. With rising gas prices, hot weather, short tempers, and the bs politics going on in this country, I'd wager that there will be a substantial increase in "vigilante justice".

After all, it's in the Constitution, right?

And Shepherds we shall be For thee, my Lord, for thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti

Cheers!
