Northern Exposure

Nice piece over at Time about the Palin family, the people from their home town and common decency. It's all over the place up there.

UPDATE: The WJS covers it pretty darn well: 17 and Pregnant.

  3. ...and the frightened LibDems keep piling on.

I predict that Palin will one day become Queen of the World.
So now you can go around telling people that “one blogger predicted this”, DDD. (Hehehe…)

Alaska is in the top 5 states for per capita rates of domestic violence, 6 times the nat. average for sexual assault, and 2.2 percent times the national average for rape.

Yea, its all over the place up there.

  5. Gee Bob, you makes Alaska sound as dangerous as Washington D.C. or Detroit.

By the way, was that a spelling error, or was that intentional?

  8. I certainly hope that Palin stays as a reminder of McCain's poor judgment in picking the backup "commander in chief".

As opposed to our Nation's Democratic Primary voters and caucus-goers and their poor judgement in selecting a guy good at speeches but not ready to sit at the desk when it comes to being a cheif executive.

  11. The "conscious decision" about Obama was affirmative action, not based on his qualifications.
And how many millions picked Biden as VP?

  12. “Northern Exposure” was one of the best shows ever on TV. And it did as much for Alaska tourism as Palin being picked for VP will.
Who else saw her fine late-night (our time) speech from the Snowy State the other night? She's really very bright and quite likeable.
