The Great Depression This is NOT!

Nobel winning economist Gary Becker says things are not as dire as some are making it seem.

  2. Wrong, the fundamentals of our economy are make-believe. There is nothing backing the economy but fiat money. Add that up with the make believe (derivative) assets of wall street, the cost of the war, and the outrageous spending plans of our current presidential candidates, we are in considerably more than a crisis. Not even going back to a gold standard will bring immediate relief for the tsunami that's coming.

    Of course, that's just my opinion :)
