True. But doesn't stop liberals from attacking Wal-Mart.

Yes, when you get your ass handed to you in an election that rejected your ideology: double-down for next time.
This is actually consistent with current GOP group think. Even if your ideology is getting failed results in "reality", blame it on "reality" and keep doing the same thing, expecting better results.
Looking forward to 2012 and beyond with guys like this steering the GOP's Titanic.

how funny, we were hearing the same thing between 2000-2004 with the democratic party, espeically after the great JOhn Kerry couldn't bring down W., I guess these patterns are cyclical...

ReplyDeletenow back to the subject matter at hand - Yes, the GOP needs to reinvent themselves after the Bush Administration disappears, there's a lot of work to do. They need to redefine goals, shed the scandals the media reserves just for them, and reach out to the public - sounds crazy, but do they start running commercials to define themselves?
ReplyDeleteThere's individuals that can step up into leadership roles in the coming decade - Jihndal, Palin, Gov Tim P form Minn (Yes I'm too lazy to look up the spelling), Michael Steele.
I said before that this could be cyclical and I have to believe so, too much of one side will not produce the results the entire country wants to see. Whether it's 2010 or 2012, there's going to be a shift back on capitol hill.
...and the censorship continues of those who aren't suspended.
ReplyDeleteThere is no doubt that Republicans need to go back to its ideological roots. Conservatives win elections when they run as consevatives, and they lose when they try to copy democrats. Sort of like arguing with an idiot, they quickly drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
