"I Can See Russia From My House"

Anything political about the AP's choice of Tiny Fey as "Entertainer of the Year"?

Nah.

But how come Darrell Hammond never won for his Bill Clinton impression during the Monica Lewinsky hillarity?

  1. You ever see howobamagotelected.com?

Look how many people thought Sarah Palin actually said that.

  2. rewarding fey for bringing down palin?

aaron, what are you saying, the media affected the outcome of this election by skimming any obama-related controversies and focusing on palin who's closer to being one of us than anyone who's run the last 20 years? "She's such an inexperienced moron" (Shelter the shortcomings of the obama)

  3. Aaron / Steve - OK. I watched the Youtube clip from the obviously "fair and balanced" web site that you sent us to. Get real Aaron. I can go out on any given day and ask Republicans the same questions, and they could be made to look just as stupid. The problem with Palin is that SHE was being asked questions like this, and SHE couldn't come up with answers!
Aaron, if someone asked you a simple question like "what do you read", would you be able to come up with an answer? She couldn't. How about the Bush doctrine? She couldn't answer that. Supreme court decissions? Not a clue. Thats who you wanted one heart beat away from the presidency?Steve - Palin is closer to being one of us? Is that what you want in the White House? Steve, what are you thinking? I'm sorry, but we've just done eight years of dumb ass. I don't want someone in the White House who is just like me. Or like anyone else on this blog for that matter. I want someone of superior intellect. Some one who is articulate and rational. Don't blame Tina Fey, or the press, or anyone else for the defeat of McCain and Palin. The bottom line is that the best team won. Obama ran a superior campaign. Whats now amazing is how Mccain has refused to say he would support Palin if she ran in 2012, Palin is complaining about way the campaign was being run, and Joe the plumber is saying he was apalled by Mccain. What does that tell you?

  4. Bob:

And Biden lied about his conversations with regular folk at the closed diner, and he repeatedly identifies the executive branch with the wrong article of the Constitution, and he is a plagiarist, etc... You got what you wished for.

  5. Scott - Comparing Palins intellect with Bidens is laughable. Not even close.
Would you want to see her as your Republican Presidential candidate in 2012?

  6. Obama won the old-fashioned way. He spent twice as much money as McCain.
That's change we can believe in -- buying elections.
The myth that Obama raised his campaign dollars by the modest donations of ordinary citizens was also exposed as a fraud in the little bit of election finance reporting Obama provided. The percentage of his small contributions (under $1000) was the same 26% as Bush in 2004.
Anyone can run a "superior campaign" with a two-to-one financial advantage.

  7. Jake - Like I said. He ran a superior campaign.

  8. He ran a superior campaign.

No, Obama did not. You sound like DDD, BB.

The Black Messiah outspent McCain 4-to-1 and had the entire Liberal Media, Entertianment and Education industries in the tank for him. And yet despite ALL that going for him his "mandate" was a measly 4 points.
What's that tell you about how America really feels about him?
Not to mention that Obama ran the most underhanded, dishonest and secretive -ugly- campaign in recent history and had every black racist vote for him and against the white guy.

No, just because you like the outcome of the election does NOT by any stretch mean that Obama ran a "better" or more respectable campaign, as you blind partisan dishonest Daves keep saying.
