Rich Joseph Vindicated

Southeast Delco educator Rich Joseph is on his way to getting his job back, that is, if he still wants it.

Last night a committee of four school board members voted not fire the former assistant principal based on allegations made by two female students that he inappropriately hugged and kissed them.

Additional charges such as "willful misconduct" and "sexual harassment" were brought against Joseph by Superintendent Trudie Bennett. The board committee found none of them to be credible enough to warrant any disciplinary action.

The decision was a stinging rebuke to Bennett and Human Resources Director Lynn David who pursued the charges against Joseph for more than a year.

Read the rest in today's Daily Times. More on this Sunday in my print column

  1. But why did this take so long? At least justice prevailed. Mr. Cubbage's comments are confusing. If he never believed this, then why did the taxpayers have to foot the bill for that Hack attorney Levin for so long? Now that Dr. Bennett has effectively been terminated, time to remove the Board President too. Thankfully, I hear he has competition in next year's election...

  3. I just read the full article in the paper. I don't understand the board member who never believed this (bleep). I guess now that they voted to fire the superintendent at the end of the year, it's safe to say such nonsense.

  4. There is joy in the streets of SEDELCO! Let's have a parade! Remember that old Hall and Oates song "She's Gone!"

  5. "the board committee found none of them to be credible"

Now go back and review all of her other decisions. Lots of damage to repair when this Superintendent finally leaves.

  6. The Board didnt believe Dr. Bennett, but they did believe her when she said that dressing up like a penguin for in-service was a good idea. This place is a mess. Congratulations Rich Joseph

  8. We do not have enough books for all of the students in this district, yet the administration spent tons of money on "My Iceberg is Melting"( worthless drivel), Rich Joseph's trial, and expensive in-service days at the Springfield Country Club. There is not one administrator in this district above buliding principal that is competent or is not vindictive.

  9. Speaking of the money this district is wasting, what is the cost of the legal fees we have had to endure as a result of this debacle???

  10. To piggy back off the last comment, it's time to take inventory of the spending that goes on in this district. I hear they just spent $100,000.00 on a cracker jack security system. Add that to all of the legal fees we paid to that Levine, the settlement owed to Rich Joseph.
