Find Me Guilty, Not!

The upside of Obama: The death of white guilt.

Money Q:

"If the election of Barack Obama — a 47-year-old black man with a political resume as ephemeral as a Mets pennant drive and a governing philosophy as dubious as Paris Hilton’s choice of boyfriends — accomplishes nothing else, it should illustrate the peculiar distorting effect on American society of white liberal guilt."

  2. The final nail in the coffin of John McCain’s presidential candidacy, it now seems clear, was the fact that the American economy tanked in the months before the election.

and mccain's response was random and incoherent

if mccain had acted presidential during the crisis, he might have won

he failed to inspire confidence, and lost voters that were leaning his way

  3. That is a very interesting article. Racism in America is history. Black Americans have been elected to office at every level of government and now the highest office in the land. While some people, both black and white, will forever harbor feelings of racism, white on black racism as an institution is as much a thing of the past as slavery.

Yes, he should had done what the Holy Obama had done - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING - the equivalent of voting "present", wouldn't you say?

McCain could have personally donated his wife's business and it wouldn't have helped his cause, we all know this.

  6. Well, there is certainly no White Guilt on this blog about picking racist articles from the National Review.

  7. Thank you, S.

Yes, the affirmative action election of Balack Hussein Obama to the presidency should indeed put to death all lingering black racial animostity and guilt-ridden Lib “corrective” measures. Or so you’d think. But those racial agitators and their sympathizers determined to never be satisfied have vowed to cling to their bitterness and continue their baseless leverging demands for eternal setasides…

Black racism is much more of a problem today that the trace amounts of lingering white racism, E. Let go of that guilt and enjoy Obama's affirmative action presidency.

  8. Enough of all this race talk. I'm tired of the Obama administration already.

  9. r, you sound like a lot more than a "trace amount" of lingering white racism. More like a full dump truck of toxic hate.

  10. Not really, F (aka Dishonest Dave Diano).

Let go of that guilt. Fighting rampant black racism is the new civil rights fight of our time.

  11. All you gotta do to be the leader of the free world is have catchphrases, look "cool", and have a MySpace.

The substance of what you say has nothing to do with it.

Reminds me of an old Eddie Izzard routine...10% of what you say, 90% of how you say it.

  12. Yep, it's style over substance for the dumb masses. The Left intentionally plays to them and keeps it simple and dishonest while playing to their emotions rather than their limited intellects. And the Bobs and Daves eat it up like good little sheep.

  13. r's problem is not with white guilt, but his own black heart and some black envy.

obama's a black man raised by a single mother and r is a white man(?) raised with more opportunity. obama graduated harvard law school, and r acts like a high school dropout that couldn't get a ged.

so if white r fails against black obama then somehow it can't be r's fault for being lazy and stupid. oh no! so it must be obama's fault for having the "advantage" of being black.

r might want to cut an air hole in his white hood and get some oxygen to what is left of his brain.

  14. Nah, that's not it at all, DDD.
But your White Guilt-fueled imagination is duly noted. Lol...
