Forte in Courte

My print column on Joe Forte's is up.

Reporters were finally able to catch up with him at his arraignment in Philadelphia federal court.

His 12-year $50 million Ponzi scheme came tumbling down in December.

In talking to reporters, he seemed like a nice, sincere guy, which, of course, makes him the perfect con man.

  1. I hope people don't feel sorry for this guy. He is only sorry because he got caught. That's why he stopped to talk. He knows he has a silver tongue. That and a fake limp can get reporters to go a little easier on you I guess. He's no different than a pick pocket or any other scammer. Ted Bundy did the same thing with the crutches and the cast on his arm, it gets people to let their guard down. I bet if you followed him home he would walking fine to his front door.
