Israel's Objective in Gaza

Thomas Friedman explains, sort of, the bloodshed in Gaza.

Is it the education or eradication of Hamas?

Well, it's not the latter because that isn't possible. Hard to say if the former is possible either. We'll see.

  1. You linked back to your blog, instead of the Thomas Friedman article. As for "eradication", Hamas is even less capable of eradicating Israel. For the 3000 or so rockets over the past few years that every talks about Hamas firing, they kill only about 3 Israelis a year.

Hamas could kill more people by opening a smoke shop and selling Israelis discounted cigarettes (or just coughing on people).
