Paul Krugman Performs

The Krooger is very, very upset with our new president for negotiating the stimulus package and listening to Republican centrists at all.

At least, he pretends to be. This way when the pork-loaded stimulus package doesn't work, Krooger gets to say, "See, I told you it wasn't BIG enough."

Krooger won a Nobel Prize for economics. But he won it for a very specific observation concerning international trade, called New Trade Theory. He is no more an expert on what this gigantic stimulus package will do to the U.S. economy than Jane Fonda is.

One thing they both have in common; they're both terrific actresses.
