If Obama can set compensation limits for corporate executives can it do it for baseball players?. After all the league enjoys a terrific anti-trust exemption.
Maybe he could force the owners to lower ticket prices to about $10, so more poor people could enjoy going to the games.
Something that will help us little people and not just soak the rich.
Hey, wait a minute. Won't lowering executive compensation actually cost the federal treasury money by lowering the amount they pay in taxes?
Maybe he should take a page out of this guy's book.

It's only a cap for executives of companies we are bailing out. So, that frees up tax payer money by not giving it to those executives and leaves more for the treasury to spend helping non-executives.
The economy is to Obama as the War on Terrorism was to George Bush. Right after 9/11 Bush had free reign and quickly got things like the Patriot Act in place, created the Department of Homeland Security. 8 years later Bush was literally "boo-ed" out of Washington largely because of his War decisions.
The honeymoon will be over soon for Obama and he may not get a second term because of stuff like this.
I wonder if Hillary will run against him in 2012?

Hey, if Obama could force a Playoff system in college football AND push a salary cap in baseball - he'd be alright by me. The lack of a salary cap is why you see certain players making $20M+ per season for a summer job. Baseball is the last of the big four without one, their union is waay to strong to give it up.
It's more of a PR move for the country to limit pay to executives of companies who need bailout help, but how can you argue Obama on this one - if the company needs bailout help in the first place - what does it say about said company's leadership and management in the first place?
