Win One for Teddy?

Will Ted Kennedy's death help Dems push the health reform ball over the goal line?

First, let us say that Ted Kennedy was a flawed man but a charming one. And he was a masterful politician. Our prayers go out to his family and may he Rest In Peace.

That said the answer to the above question is probably not. After all...

Did John Kennedy's death win the cold war?

Did Robert Kennedy's death end the Vietnam War?

Did John Kennedy Jr.s death lead to greater government regulation of private plane pilots and when they could take off?

Did Mary Jo Kopecne's death bring about tougher drunk driving laws in 1969?

what's even more interesting is that the governor can't appoint someone - they re-wrote the laws to prevent a previous Republican governor (Romney) from doing so, now that they have a D in office, they want it back. Politics at its finest!

The politics of the left is always shameless. I heard a story today about how Kennedy never personally attacked anyone, yet history contradicts that claim. Also, you had Chris Matthews state that Obama is now the remaining Kennedy brother. The lefties never stop!

Gil - Nice. You say rest in peace, and then you throw in Kopecnes death. Had to get that in didn't you?

Scott - Im still waiting for that list of all of the self proclaimed communists that you claim Obama surrounds himself with. So far the only one's I can think of are Bill Ayers and Van Jones, and since the late 90's Jones has embraced capitalism.

Scott-

1. Be a little less obvious when checking out my girlfriends.

2. Not all mushrooms are mind altering.

3. Thanks for offering to buy me a drink.
