Gil - Good column. Really liked the ending. The only problem I have is that he gets 45 days to get things in order. He's 54. Will he have to serve all 15 yrs., or will he be eligible for parole at an earlier date? If someone is 54 and they're looking at jail time until the age of 69, wouldn't they be a flight risk? There was another story in todays paper about a man who was sentenced to 2 1/2 to 5 yrs. He embezzled 235K, and he went straight to jail. Doesn't seem fair.
