Healthcare Votes For Sale

Ben and Mary sold theirs to Harry Reid and got a pretty price from the American taxpayer who got... well, an historic, trillion-dollar reorganization of the one-sixth of the U.S. economy to empower government, cut doctors' pay and enrich insurance companies.

The country's in the very best of hands.

Mark Steyn points out:
You can't even dignify this squalid racket as bribery: If I try to buy a cop, I have to use my own money. But, when Harry Reid buys a senator, he uses my money, too. It doesn't "border on immoral": It drives straight through the frontier post and heads for the dark heartland of immoral.

And the Republicans sold out to the lobbyists and obstructionists. You must be so proud.

Gil, please don't criticize our Democratic elected officials, it tends to hurt the feelings of a a certain reader or one.

Hey a non, why did you hide your profile? Embarrassed about being EXPOSED? Or are you no longer a 29 year old female?

Steve-
Creepy guys like you reminded me that I forgot to hide the profile when I created the account. You should really get yourself a girlfriend.

anon-iano,

did your profile confirm my prior suspicions that you do engage in cross-dressing?

Stevie-
You seem to enjoy guessing, wondering and fantasizing about who I am. I guess that is more enjoyable for you than engaging in debate on the issues and getting EXPOSED as a fool. But, it's still creepy.

Hmmm, who's creepier?

Someone who recognizes a ruse and a fraud when he sees one or someone who has vowed never ever again to post on a certain blog but then he continues to do so under a series of phony names, aliases and anonymously?

I know who gets my vote.

a non,
if you really feel that the excessive use of slanted talking points exposes others in debates, thats your call. My opinion, you wouldn't have a voice without the words of your masters who provide you with the points and the cheerleading outfit.

now stop being a schmuck and answer my prior question - does being a '29 year old female' confirm my suspicions on your cross-dressing affinity? Also, do your sociology buddies join you in this practice?

Well, I'm certainly not someone whom Gil has banned, since he allows my posts.

Where were all of these fiscal Republican watchdogs when George Bush and his Republican Congress passed the largest entitlement bill in forty years (the medicare prescription drug bill)? The CBO estimated it could cost us as much as 2 trillion dollars and not only did they pass it without a plan to pay for it, they cut taxes on top of it, with two wars going on. It was ok then , but not now? Did they all suddenly find religion? What a bunch of hypocrites.
