On the Backs of Children

The Democrats passed Obamacare, you know, for the kids. They didn't mention how much it was REALLY going to cost, or how they are the ones who are going to pay for it.

My print column is up.

Before this, they could go to the emergency room and get treated for free, with the costs being passed on to the rest of us. At least now they have to come up with a $1000 per year. Seem's to me as though we're moving in the right direction. One of the complaints I've always heard from conservatives is that responsible folks buy insurance and pay their bills, while the rest of the people freeload. Now the rest of those people will be forced to do what us responsible people do, or be forced to pay a fine. And you have a problem with that?

So, if given the choice between your children having no insurance, or remaining on your policy until they are 26, you would say "you're on your own. Good luck. Hope you don't get sick or have an accident. Bye Bye."

If Obama gets his wish on all his big government spending programs, the recession will continue with 10% unemployment indefinitely.

There will be no jobs for young people, so they will have no opportunity to obtain their own health insurance.

This bill papers over the current economic tragedy by mandating adult children continue their dependency on their parents for health insurance.

That serves the dual purpose of diverting scrutiny from Obama's epic failures, and brainwashing the next generation into passive acceptance of their place in the liberal scheme -- fully compliant wards of the state.

Jake - Its all a Socialist plot. Right? Here's one you don't hear very often. PALIN: "We used to hustle over the border for health care we received in Canada. And I think now, isn’t that ironic?"
Isn't that funny Jake? Palin used to steal health care from Canadians. Am I surprised? Nah. Not really. So did 750,000 other Americans in 2007. According to a recent NPR program, over a million Americans go to Mexico every year for affordable health care. Im finding figures of around 17,500 for Canadians crossing into the U.S. for medical Care. Do some research and see what you come up with.
