Friend or not, Gil, I cringe when I read Bob's articles. He's become the "Mr. Monday-morning QB" of the Inquirer - his articles displays the mentality of your average 610 WIP caller.
Prior to the 2009 Season, he wrote an article that stated that the Eagles need to retire Brian Dawkins #20 jersey immediately. Really? Really? While the man's still playing?
A couple weeks ago, he wrote that about how bad the Iverson signing was for the 76ers - as if Iverson was ever going to improve that train-wreck of a team this year!
Ford's style is to swoop in after a typical Philadelphia failure and write in an almost "told you so' mentality. I've become tired of it.
