Part II of The Ranieri Chronicles
My print column is up.
But the headline on the Web site version - "Convict Knows Where the Bodies are Buried," gives the quite wrong impression. When it comes to the Castle et al, Danny Ranieri doesn't know where the bodies are buried. A more accurate headline would be: "Convict Knows Where the Bodies are Buried - Not!"
Just sayin'

I am shocked at how desperate for readers you are that you would write such a meaningless article! It is obvious that Mr. Ranieri doesn't have a clue as to where any bodies are buried. I am going to assume he is trying to collect some sort of monetary value for telling a "story." Wasn't all of what he said already written back in the 70's? All you have done now is highlight the name of Danny Ranieri for whatever business/personal reason and slammed Mr. Marconi. Let the man rest in peace! Part of being a good columnist is research. Apparently, you have some learning to do. Did you ever stop to think about the families that you write about? What about their kids and grandkids? Today's society isn't the easiest on young impressionable children and right now, you could be to blame for that. So, basically we as readers have wasted time out of our day to read about a convict who knows nothing and a cop to vouch for him. What is this world coming to? Danny Ranieri is getting recognized to tell about his crimes. Maybe he should have mentioned all this at the time but seems cowardly waiting for all his past "affililates" to decease. Way to write about something that could actually lead to a positive outcome or have anything to do with the articles headline!
This Anonymous says that the Anonymous of the First Part is off base. What you have written in both Wednesday and Sunday editions is relevant to the near-term history of Delco. Obviojusly Mr. Ranieri has not come clean with his allegations. Nonetheless, in the opinon of this reader it would have been unfortunate if you had not followed the lead and given your readers the perceptions you have... So sayeth Anonymous The Second...
