The Luck of the Irish

WEST GOSHEN — Police arrested Sean O’Neill Jr., 22, early Thursday morning on suspicion of drunken driving after he allegedly drove a car into a house.

At 12:55 a.m., township police found O’Neill driving a black Cadillac that had run off the road and into a side of a house in the 800 block of Westtown Road. When police arrived, O’Neill was attempting to drive the car away, a police report says.

O’Neill was arrested and later released pending a summons.
That sounds like a pretty quick turnaround. Let's hope he got home in time for Thanksgiving dinner.

Gil - The Times reports Sean O'Neill Sr. is in the beginning stages of deportation. The Inquirer says he has already been deported. Do you know which is correct?

When Irish Eyes are Smiling
We tend to crash our cars
And when Irish eyes are laughing
we drink more liquor in bars!

Or vica versa, hiccup!!

My beautiful 100% Irish bride has always told me there are two types of Irish-Americans---the Shanty Irish and the Lace Irish. The latter always strived for the finer things, lace curtains, an elegantly served meal, an education, an honorable career, etc. The former were, according best to the Urban Dictionary, those who have a culture that consists of getting drunk until the room spins, surviving off of T.V. dinners, and counting thier freckles... Sad to say that the o'Neills are a part of the former. Especially when Sean Sr. had the chance as an undocumented alien to live out his life as a very successful businessman here in Delco... But for Sean Jr. he would have still been under the radar. Now he is either deported or in the process of being deported to Northern Ireland where he will probably face further improsiment due to his teenage antics for the IRA...
