Wow! Thanks for sharing this highly controversial photo with us. It's comforting to see that Matt Drudge is staying on top of the important issues of the day. Next week Matt will reveal Obama's middle name. Just in case we've forgotten.
President Obama can put on his big girl panties and handle all the scrutiny. He will be leaving for his 17 day vacation to Hawaii, while the rest of us have to trudge and skimp our way to the holidays!
Jake - Oh! Now it's Axelrods doing? On what planet do you reside? This was a case of the Republicans eating their own. Time to take the blinders off Jake. When I told Gil that the Cain campaign was a joke, I wasn't joking.
Danny - Of the four of us, I don't think any of us look like we're missing any meals. We'll survive the holidays just fine. As for Obamas big girl panties, I understand he's put them up on eBay and the high bidder is Matt Drudge. He needs a new wardrobe for his jaunts into the rainbow clubs in NY and Miami. Of course, he say's he just goes there because he likes the music.
17 days vacation, Bob. Most jobs only in their 3rd year only get 2 weeks. This is his 3rd extended vacation of 2011. 11 days in Martha's Vineyard.
Even you in your cushy union job don't get 37 days a year in vacation, with travel and expenses all picked up by the taxpayers.
I think the man deserves time off, but people are suffering and he is vacationing, Bob! He challenges Congress to work while heading out to Hawaii. Not like he is taking time off to stay home with the kids, is it? I eat well, but can not afford to take my family to Hawaii for 17 days. My company frowns on taking 2 weeks consecutively, unless special permission is requested and granted. The real world versus Obama's world, Bob!!
Danny - In the real world, it's pretty much common knowlege that Presidents continue to work while on vacation. The location changes but the job continues. This is nothing more than Obama bashing. But just for shits and giggles, I went to factcheck.org and found this -
Q: Has President Obama taken more vacation time than his predecessors?
A: According to one count, Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush spent more time on "vacation" during their first year than President Obama did. Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton spent less time on "vacation."
And Danny, isn't it kind of hypocritical of you to refer to my traffic control job as a "cushy union job"? Didn't you tell us that your job consisted of watching movies all day? Something about glass houses.....

Fair game, don't you think, Bob? The left made sure to slam Bush for the same thing while in office. Each time he lifted a club he was a criminal, or even berrer, a neanderthal.
Steve - You write Fair game, don't you think, Bob? The left made sure to slam Bush for the same thing while in office. Each time he lifted a club he was a criminal, or even berrer, a neanderthal (sic)The difference Steve, is that the criticism of Bush took place largly because Bush was vacationing during the height of the war with Iraq. Photo ops on the golf course are never a good idea while body bags are being unloaded at Dover. Plus Bush's mind was on vacation too. Turns out, so was Reagan's. Maybe Danny should have thought of this before posting criticism of Obama for something that his beloved Republicans excelled at. Something about glass houses....
In his February 7 (broadcast on 8th), 2004, hour-long Oval Office interview with Tim Russert on NBC's Meet the Press [10], President Bush declared himself as a "War President".
Bush: "I'm a war president. I make decisions here in the Oval Office in foreign-policy matters with war on my mind. Again, I wish it wasn't true, but it is true. And the American people need to know they got a president who sees the world the way it is. And I see dangers that exist, and it's important for us to deal with them."
However, . . .
Joshua Micah Marshall, in his April 9, 2004, Talking Points Memo, points to a "Washington Post story on the degenerating situation in Iraq ...
"This is Bush's 33rd visit to his ranch since becoming president. He has spent all or part of 233 days on his Texas ranch since taking office, according to a tally by CBS News. Adding his 78 visits to Camp David and his five visits to Kennebunkport, Maine, Bush has spent all or part of 500 days in office at one of his three retreats, or more than 40 percent of his presidency. and this ...
"Bush spent the morning watching national security adviser Condoleezza Rice's televised testimony to the commission investigating the September 11, 2001, attacks, then toured his ranch with Wayne LaPierre Jr., chief executive of the National Rifle Association, and other leaders of hunting groups and gave an interview to Ladies' Home Journal. He is not scheduled to appear in public until Sunday, when he will visit nearby Fort Hood, the home base for seven soldiers recently killed in Baghdad. Marshall: "Vacation gibes are usually unfair. But with the situation in Iraq so critical, shouldn't the president be at the White House? It's a full-time job, comes with a decent salary." [11]

Yeah, just as important as the 20 year-old allegations against Herman Cain from David Axelrod's bought and paid-for skanks.

The ping-pong continues...

Whether its a war, a recession, or an economic meltdown, it makes no difference to me. Please, try again.
Well, look at it this way Steve. Obama's a good family man who wants to go home for Christmas.
Anything wrong with that?
