Obama to the Constitution's Advise and Consent Section: Drop Dead!

Even liberal legal experts say President Obama's recess appointments are in danger of being declared illegal by the federal courts.

  1. The Constitution is for the little people! Holder is negligent as well. How do we allow these people to get elected?

  2. The Oath of Office which President Barrack Hussein Obama took stated: "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." Maybe his legal grounds for the "recess [not] appointments" was that he felt he did not have the ability to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution... His ability having been impaired by not wanting tolerate the process of Consent by the Senate which the Constitution dictates. Just wonderin'...

  3. Drop the "Hussein" Act, CharlieSix. We can dislike the President and his policies all we like, but inserting 'Hussein" into each of your postings in a subliminal way is just sad.

And don't give us the who "But its his middle name so its ok" act.

  4. All elected officials take a similar oath. Many of them break it soon after taking it.

I have been known to ask my elected officials if they know, or have read, the constitution. all say yes, but after 2 questions I can tell they haven't!

  5. Sorry to have touched a sore nerve, Steve. I'll try to keep in mind your sensitivity to the issue. However, just to be clear on it, in now way did my inclusion of the President's full name exist or operate below the threshold of consciousness. No subliminal messages intended or implied. Mr. Obama's name is what it is and when I was commenting on his taking the Oath of Office, I used the same full name that he poudly used when he took that Oath of Office. And that's a fact.

  7. yes, he used the full name as have most if not all presidents who have taken the oath. However, many who oppose Obama like to sneak in his middle name because its 1) different for a president and 2) strikes fears or discussion over his background/religion. Its no better than when John King's first question in last night's debate was about NewtGingrich's marital issues, or when hollywood puts out a politicially biased film two weeks before an election.

If you don't like the president, open up about his policies or qualifications. Inserting 'Hussein' into the discussion is just an attempt to bait suckers.

  8. Steve - You know the intent, I know the intent. And you're right. Obamaphobes like CS will continue to try to convince people that Obama has some kind of secret muslim agenda. But it's not just CS. Let's not forget Newt's reference to Obama's "Kenyan anti- colonial world view." This is nothing but an attempt to decieve the people of this country. But they will deny it.
