That green just doesn't work for him. And lantern is such a common implement. Let's give this first gay superhero the stylish name he deserves -- how about the "Violet Torchiere"?
Let's get a grip on the reality of this. The Green Lantern was introduced to society in 1940. Let's say he was a 22 year old adult at the time of becoming a superhero. That makes him in 2012 a 74 year old man. Which makes me say that if he at age 74 wants to come out of the closet and kiss his boyfriend, so be it. He doesn't have a lot of years here on earth to enjoy his new found sexual freedom. But, like Jake, and no doubt Dannytheman, I welcome you back, Bob. I'm pleased to know you are well and that your long Spring hibernation has been successfully completed.

Jake - You know way to much about this stuff.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Bob.
ReplyDeleteThe Big Bang Theory TV show inspired this, I believe. I was kinda hoping for Wonder Woman myself.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jake. I missed you.
