  1. For anyone who has any measure of empathy for Arthur Bomar please see:

I have long questioned whether the alleged death penalty is effective given the time and money spent on all of the prologned appeals. Such as those of Wesely Cook, convicted of murdering Danny Faulkner. And the result of my continued questions about the penalty is that it is not sufficiently severe. I advocate that we abandon the death penalty. Instead, we institute a system that when one is convicted of a death penalty offense he/she is sent to a prison cell with no TV, no continued contact with ultra-liberal wanna-do-good defense types, no 'yard' time, nada. Just sit in the cell and wait for the time to come to go to whatever place it is that people like Arthur Bomar will go to spend eternity. Our society enables the Wesley Cook's and the Arthur Bomar's of the world to survive and thrive. Put them in their cells, isolate them from all elements of society, and let them live as long as they can looking only themselves in the mirror.
