Trust me, Mike. This type of move will continue with intensity until January 1st. As a small businessman, but not even a mid-sized business, I have no choice but to cut my employees' hours to under 30 per week. Oh, yes, I do have a choice. That is to go out of business and terminate everyone. I cannot break even if I have to give medical insurance to everyone who (previously) works between 30 and 40 hours a week.
I'm curious. How many people do you employ? What was your net income from your business last year? I'm not asking to be fresh, but I'd like to try to match your claims vs. the law.

ReplyDeleteI think they need to make it gender specific like car insurance company's. Woman use more services more often so they should pay more.
