The mayor's lack of knowledge of weaponry notwithstanding, there is one patently obvious policy that definitely would have protected the officer.
If Levon Warner had served his full sentence, he would've been in prison until 2012. He could not have committed any crime in 2008.
If Howard Cain had served his full sentence, he would've been in prison to 2052. He would not have murdered anyone in 2008.
If Eric Floyd had served his full sentence, he'd have been in jail, not robbing banks, in 2008.
The gun grabbers elect to ignore such things as they use these incidents to further their grabbing agenda.

ReplyDeleteAre you assuming that these bad guys were tempted by the availability of guns? In your world these bad guys are forced to use guns, even though it is against the law for a felon to be in possession of a firearm.
What is your explanation as to why these felons pick up a gun and use it?
Maybe Lib Dave thinks gun makers and sellers should be put to death –as he does cig execs- rather than the criminals themselves.
ReplyDeleteThem Lib misplaced sympathies are a bitch and have led us to this place where criminals roam free to crime again. Such backward Libism has no place in criminal justice policy making, or anything else for that matter.
The bigger question is how and why they have access to these Weapons. I'll let the shields/diano debate commence, but I think we all agree that we need illegal weapons off the streets, ESPEICALLY as our own men and women in blue are outpowered.
ReplyDeleteSgt. Liczbinski was a parishoner of my former Church. I was in the NE over the weekend, just about every Wawa on or off of Roosevelt Blvd had a water jug full of cash donations for the family. Three unnecessary murders in the last two years, it really makes me sick.
Gotta love all the diversity in that city.
