Obama's Reversal of Fortune

McCain is surging. The latest Zogby has him 5 points up. It's not just the drilling, stupid, but a series of cooly put negative attacks.

Obama is a soufle. McCain is a knife. Just what Hillary supporters feared.

  1. that should change quickly next week with the Democratic Primary - Obama should get an easy bump from Denver.

Now, does he choose jerk&## Joe Biden as his running mate?

Heard Bob Barr on Smerconish this morning, seems like he's the only one making sense. Shame he likely won't be in the debates.

A knife? Yea. A butter knife maybe. Are you condoning the negative attack adds? Even though Factcheck.org has found most of them to be anywhere from somewhat inacurate to downright lies? What does it say about McCane if he is lying to the people of this country and preying on their fears to get elected? Are you in favor of the dumbing down of the political process?

  4. McCain being a bush clone is as believeable as Obama sharing a dorm room in college with Osama. Let's start that rumor while we're at it.

Bob, I liked you better as "bob". Robert catches me off guard; I see the "r" leading off the name and immediately assume randal. I'm having difficulty adjusting, man!

  6. Historically, Dems have been the most negative campaigners. Now suddenly they’re crying about it when decent people are finding very questionable things about the Affirmative Action Candidate. They are trying to make any and ALL criticisms of Barry Hussein Obama -including very legitimate ones- off limits as they protect him. Past admitted drug use? You can’t say that because that is “racist”. He admits to “dabbling in black militancy”. You can’t use that… He admits to identifying with his Muslim linage. You must be a racist. He doesn’t wear, solute or sing to The Flag. “Don’t question his patriotism!” On and on…
People are starting to see what’s really behind that polished curtain.
Keep playing you games, Lying LibDems, and see how that pans out come November.

  7. Oops, forgot to add that no one has dumbed down the political process like the Libs with their dishonest childish games and all that “include everyone, including uninformed idiots” crap.
“Vote or Die”. Now that’s deep. Oh brotha…

  8. Randall and Steve:

The more liberalism saturates our society, the libs are being exposed for their "do as we say not as we do" manifesto.

  10. Nice try, DDD, but nope. The Repub brand is hurting only because the Left has been successful in dishonestly portraying Bush as the face of all Con/Repubs, which is far from the case. He is no traditional Con/Repub. They’re doing it again now by attempting to paint McCain as Bush 2 –their primary attack strategy on Mc.
But you, being a political opp and all, are well aware of this. So once again you are just a liar lying, DDD.

  11. I don't know diano - while I'm not here to argue the GOP side (because forthe most part I tend to agree - they've become a party without an identity over the last 8 years). I haven't been impressed with the D's either. They have control over both the house and senate and have had the least amount of legislation of any session in years. When their biggest accomplishment is "National Watermelon week" proclimations, we have problems.

    Approval ratings aren't helping, either.

  12. And don't forget that stupid apology for slavery designed to ensure them every last black vote this fall.

  14. how do they win those polls hands down if their approval rating is below 10%? Please don't give me your typical "W" excuse, that's all it amounts to

Is there truly a right/wrong side to "National Watermelon Month"?

  16. Uh, last time I checked Lib Pelosi and Lib Reid’s individual approval ratings were well below even that of the much maligned W. They were both down in the low teens and sinking while W has hovered around 30 for some time.
Of course Dishonest Dave well knows this and no doubt even checked the current stats prior to his posting here. But he elected to omit these facts. Once again showing us his level of calculated dishonesty.

  20. Oh, judging by your level of expressed kooky and offensive Radical Liberalism, DDD, I’m gonna guess that it was Rep Joe who distanced himself from you.

And stop dancing the splitting hairs dance about approval ratings, Spinzy.

    Point for me and S.

  22. And I’m sure he was terribly upset to lose the backing of a whacko extremist like you, DDD.

Aid: “That Diano kook wrote you again today.”

Rep Joe: “Oh God, not again. What the heck does that nutjob want now?”

Aid: He says he’s upset with you and he’s cutting off all contact with you.”

Rep Joe: “Thank goodness! I thought he’d never go away!”

    Lol…

  24. Joe's made a long a career out of a lot of short-term assignments before people figured him out and he had to move on.

So you’re admitting that what the Repubs were saying about his poor leadership back before he got elected was true! Lol…

not smart enough to understand the long-term benefit of real loyalty vs discarding people once you think you don't need them

You mean just exactly like how you Apologist LibDems have done to your onetime gods the Willies when you threw them under the bus once you had chosen your Affirmative Action Candidate and didn’t need them anymore. Or like how this is just what you yourself have done to Rep Joe.

For a “smart” guy you sure are an easy dope. Lol…

But you're right, there ain’t much loyalty on the Left.

I’m no fan of Rep Joe but at least he’s more moderate than you. The one smart thing he has done is distance himself from radical Far Lib kooks like you. This will likely be the biggest contributing factor to his remaining in office.
