Lipstick on a Pig

Spencerblog doesn't know this guy but he's dead on about the "pig wearing lipstick" story.

It is so lame of Republicans to start crying sexism and pretending to be all offended by Obama's remarks. Pretending the media is sexist just won't wash either.

In general, journalists are just trying to find out who Sarah Palin is.

So far, so fair.

Whining is for Democrats. Sarah's a big girl. She can take it and if she can't she should take a hike back to Wasilla.

The GOP isn't doing its brand any favors by acting like a bunch of defensive crybabies.

UPDATE: Not that some on the hard left haven't gone completely round the bend, as Roger Simon notes.

thisa was a dumb one. Dumb to try to tie this to an intentional accusation. Dumb also to Obama's advisors as they should have coached his speeches away from the line now that Palin's in the race and making "lipstick" a popular term.

This was a legitimate complaint but it’s been overplayed. Obama knew just what he was doing when he made the quip. If you watch the vid you can see he by his reaction that he got JUST EXACTLY the audience response he was looking for and expected. It was calculated and planned. I don’t think O was intentionally being sexist with his snipe but I do believe it was evidence of his inherent sexism (–much as blacks are forever accusing whites of inherent racism). And it bit him.
Obama has this habit of saying and doing questionable things and then simply denying his intention whenever he gets called on it. That’s not very honest or “change-y”. A polygraph would rip the O-man apart for all to see.

Just so long as the America voters are familiar with the cowardly LibDem/ Obama Doctrine of Retreat in Defeat and Appease it will all be fine come November.
