"We've Been Had"

Families who lost members in the 9/11 attacks and the bombing of the U.S. Cole met with President Obama to discuss their concerns about the closing of Guantanomo Bay and the president's strategy for combating terrorism.

He talked a good game and then...

In Texas, President Bush would probably be thinking, "big hat, no cattle".
Of course, he would have the discretion to not say so, but having been in the Oval Office, he'd have no trouble recognizing a guy in over his head.

no one in this country knows what it's like to be in over his head like george bush does. he did it for 8 years straight.

President Bush showed respect to military families by talking straight to them. He never let the terrorist killers of their sons and daughters walk free.
Obama is far better at the "spin" game than actual leadership. He's finding out that he has to make tough decisions, and he needs to find the courage to explain his positions. This campaign mode of saying one thing and doing another is catching up to him.
