Donald Duck: Masher?

An Upper Darby woman named April Magolon has filed a lawsuit against Disney World two years after allegedly being groped by an employee in a Donald Duck costume.

According to the suit, Magolon was holding her child and seeking an autograph when the duck groped her breast.

Two questions: What sort of person asks a mascot for an autograph? How did she expect the Donald to hold a pen in those big clothy hands?

According to the story:
Magolon claims she was so traumatized by the incident that she can no longer work.

She claims the alleged incident has caused her to suffer post-traumatic stress disorder, flashbacks, nausea, cold sweats, insomnia, nightmares and digestive problems that are preventing her from attending her usual duties and occupation, causing her great financial detriment and loss. According to the lawsuit, she believes her injuries are permanent.
She is seeking in excess of $50,000.

The story brings to mind an old joke:

Q: Why did Mickey Mouse divorce Minnie?
A: Because she was f---ing Goofy.

Lawsuits don't come much goofier than this one.

This one made my day - love the comments both here and at philly.com - puns all around! But why is delcotimes closing comments on the story? Its not racist, commentary wasn't dirty, it was just funny.

The kids playing the characters are trained to sign autographs in the style of their character - meaning that every "Donald Duck" at the park will sign the name the same way. My son has an autograph book from two years ago filled with signatures, all of them in their same theme. Should have sued daisy for flirting with me (Dang!)

So you're the kind of person who asks a mascot for an autograph and the mascots do it all the time.

Questions answered.

I think they're required by the mascots union to accidently grope parents nearby when signing autographs.

The autographs are a big deal for the kids. Disney sells autograph books at every gift shop (and we all know there's a ton of them at their parks, starting with the end of each ride)

Why dont you report real news, Harrahs Casino fires most of their employees. The last meeting I attended , We were told that Harrahs Casino has a 89% turnover. They allow the young men say crude omments to the women co workers. Management is so poor and HR does nothing when you report anything that happenes there. Unemployment allows Harrahs Casino win against their fired employees. The Unemployment rate would be much hire if they allow the fired Harrahs Casino employees win.
