Blatter Explosion!
The president of the international soccer association, FIFA, has apologized for suggesting gay people refrain from having sex during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Question: How did a country as backward and uncivilized as Qatar with it's crazy and oppressive laws, get awarded the World Cup in the first place?
"I regret my comment, I didn't want to hurt anyone. We are against discrimination. I apologise for that comment," (Sepp) Blatter told a news conference ahead of Saturday's Club World Cup.Blatter later clarified his comment. What he meant to say was gay couples should not have sex on the field or in the stands during World Cup play. He added "and that goes for straight couples too."
Gay rights activists have reacted furiously after Blatter joked that gay football fans should "refrain" from sex during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where homosexuality is illegal.
Question: How did a country as backward and uncivilized as Qatar with it's crazy and oppressive laws, get awarded the World Cup in the first place?

At local high school football games, right here in Delaware County, smoking is banned in the stadium, parking lots and school grounds.
Yet no outcry for the civil rights of these loyal, taxpaying residents who choose to enjoy a cigarette outdoors (where it is permitted across the commonwealth), while they cheer on their friends' and neighbors' children.
So it's okay for these deep liberal thinkers that the politically-correct rights of an intrusive nanny state take precedence over the religion and anti-sodomy laws of a sovereign nation?
Isn't it wonderful how these progressive thinkers apply their supposed superior brain power to lobby for improvements the quality of life for us little people, without ever having to burden themselves with caring about what we think?
