Amen!!! As I read Mr. Obama's comment regarding corporate jets I thought back to late-October 2009 on a bright Sunday afternoon that had me returning from a visit to relatives at the shore. The traffic on the Atlantic City Expressway was heavy but moved along at the usual 70 mph. But then I got to the end of the Expressway and it was a total standstill. Rt 42 headed to the Walt was a dead stop six lanes wide. I turned to Traffic on the Twos and learned that the bridge had been shut down for the President's motorcade returning from a campaign rally in Camden for then-Governor Corzine. It took over 1 1/2 hours to get over the bridge and head toward Delco. At the same time President Obama was lecturing Americans on energy conservation, in order to make a campaign stop he had thousands of travelers wasting incalculable gallons of gasoline. Just another one of the many, many examples of The Imperial Presidency that 44 will be known for throughout future history...
