In UD, Nice Work if You Can Get It!

Upper Darby school officials say there is a lot of misinformation circulating through the community about the $4 million in program cuts in announced recently.

From the story comes this nugget:
“We’re fighting over 15 hours of instruction. The average elementary music, art, physical education and library teacher works 3.33 hours a day, yet, they are paid the full teacher salary as years of service dictate on a salary schedule with full benefits.”
Anybody see anything wrong with that picture?

Gil why don't you visit one or more of our schools and see how these teachers spend their "three hours". Lou just through the schools, teachers, and students out of the bus!

Anonymous,
I hope you're not a teacher. Lou just "threw" the teachers, "under" the bus. Right?

Wow! Anonymous plus caesar plus Rdub all in the same blog post. This has to be a record. All ignore the basic tenet of the Spencerblog post's truth but all denigrate it. Seems like the reverse that truth is stranger than fiction.
