This gun walking operation to Mexico directly led to the death of U.S. Border Patrol agents and dozens of others.
Eric Holder has been threatened with a Contempt of Congress citation for withholding documents that will show what his office knew about the operation and when it knew it.
Now, DOJ has put forth a very questionable claim of "executive privilege."
John Hinderaker says it's worse than that.
Once again President Obama places himself and his Attorney General above the law. As Mr. Hinderaker's piece clearly states, Executive Privlege in this case is a sham. This is a situation which the Obama administration may rue the day they created.
ReplyDeleteWe deserve to trust that the President's spokesman speaks the truth. In that regard, even Attorney General Holder has acknowledged that it is factually incorrect that the "prior administration" was involved in Fast and Furious. So now we know that Jay Carney, as the President's press secretary, has no integrity.
