I'm beginning to think that this is what Hillary is referring to when she speaks of her "experience" (and eludes to Obama's lack of experience in not so many words).
Her "experience" and her husband's are one in the same. The "experience " to manipulate feelings to achieve a desired outcome.
She and Bill are seasoned veterans when it comes to manipulating the media to do their bidding. Obama is a naive rising star who will be a casualty of war. I wouldn't be surprised if they offer him the Vice-Presidency as a consolation prize when all is said and done to tie everything together.
It’s great to see the Left finally turning against the Willies. Until one realizes that it’s largely only because they have decided they want this black to be president, any black (to avenge past racial wrongs or what-Lib-ever). But watch as they rush to return to her side once she has the nomination. She will again be heralded as their darling, the best thing ever, the best woman for the job. (See, Libs would really rather have a black. But they’ll take a woman if they can’t have the black.) All will be forgotten and they’ll hope we all forget too as they blindly stand behind whatever their party serves them, just so long as it’s not a Repub.
Dave D said it himself in that other thread (before he got into religion bashing and age bashing of Repubs): While I prefer Obama over Clinton... Clinton is still twice as good as the entire field the GOP has put up this election.
Translation: While the Lib racial apologist in me supports the black candidate regardless of his lack of qualifications for the job, I fear he cannot win the general election. So my blind partisanship and rabid irrational hatred for anything and everything Republican will force me to go with Hill who I see as having a better chance of winning.
Pathological LibDonkey partisan dishonesty cheapens politics in America.
this election scares the hell out of me. I think the biggest issue to consider in 2008 is our foreign policy. We have a war in Iraq, we have international security issues with terrorism, we have border security issues and we need to rebuild our image in the world that has taken a hit in the last decade.
Hillary Clinton has little to no experience. She's a 1.5 term senantor, spending half of that time running for president. don't sell me on her qualifications as first lady, if that's a valid point, than Brett farve's wife should have played for the packers this past weekend!
obama has ZERO foreign policy experience. He was elected in 2004 and has spent every minute of his term preparaing for running for president. John edwards is useless unless chasing ambulances or acting as john ritter in made-for-tv movies. Romney is your boilerplate rich republican who is saying anything to get elected at this point. Huckabee has ZERO foreign policy experience unless it involves border wars in arkansas. giuliani was good as mayor but how do you get foreign experience out of what he did? mccain may be legit but he'll be 72!
this election scares me. I may just end up voting for gil spencer at this point.
Yeah, just how does the touchy-feely of having the "first black" or "first women" president help us in the war on terror? Lib identity politics is crap and could well end up harming America as most other misguided Lib schemes do.
first black/first woman, I don't care about race or sex, give me experience and leadership first and foremost. Don't give me someone who 'ascends to the throne'.
i don't see it in these candidates. I take their promises with a grain of salt because they'll say anything you want. I take their experience FAR more seriously.
My new favorite term is "LibDonkeys". Randall, you should put that on a t-shirt. Either that or send the term to Stephen Colbert. America must learn of this term!!!
Lol… Thanks, man. Often I try to distinguish between Dems in general and the filthy Liberal variety. It’s fun to poke at them and get them all worked up with silly aphorisms. They're so easy. Just look at the fun we’ve had smacking LibDonkey Dave Diano around here!
Along with my Elephant cap, I have a t-shirt I wear to the polls that says “Don’t be an…” above a picture of a jackass. Lol… I love that shirt!

I have a dream...
But then, Libs like Dave D see a white who advocates colorblindness as somehow being "racist".
Lol... Crazy dishonest Libs...
