The Audacity of "Emptiness"

As Obama pivots, "progressives" squeal.

He seems to believe that his shifts and twists and clever panders — as opposed to bold, principled leadership on important matters — will entice large numbers of independent and conservative voters to climb off the fence and run into his yard.

Maybe. But that’s a very dangerous game for a man who first turned voters on by presenting himself as someone who was different, who wouldn’t engage in the terminal emptiness of politics as usual.

Oh no! The Obamessiah is just another politician? What were they thinking?

UPDATE: Right-winger Rich Lowry couldn't agree more.

Let's hear it for bipartisanship!

Sure. Obama has been exposed as just another lying politician. Not much "chnage" there. But he's safe because he enjoys Press protection and his Rad Lib base doesn't really care what he says or does at this point to fool others into voting for him because they smell getting their their Affirmative Action Lib Candidate inserted into the Oval Office ...by any means necessary.
