Guilt by Association for Thee
Guilt by association is a fine to charge to level but only if you are a card carrying member of the political left and an America-hating foreigner working in academia.
At least for Prof. Rashid Khalidi, Middle East historian and Obama friend.
UPDATE: Meanwhile, Philadelphia's own Daniel Pipes says Obama would fail a national security clearance. Good thing people elected president don't need them.

"Guilt by association is a fine to charge to level"
Did you mean a fine charge to level?
1) Obama was never a practicing Muslim. When he was enrolled in school, the standard was to enter the religion of the father (even though he wasn't a practicing member of the faith, either).
2) Even if Obama were Muslim (at age 6), that would disqualify him for a security clearance or President.
3) By this same "logic", McCain choose to be the guest/pal of Vietnamese Communists and get indoctrination rather than come back to America.
4) None of the Islamic associations listed by nutcase and anti-Islamic bigot Danial Pipes nor any unsolicited endorsements would disqualify Obama for a security clearance.
5) "Obama's multiple links to anti-Americans and subversives mean he would fail the standard security clearance process for Federal employee"
Besides the fact that the "links" are in Pipes' mind (just like the links he imagined between Iraq and bin Laden), they wouldn't even raise a flag. Pipes is barely a step away from claiming Obama is un-American to oppose torture or internment of Muslims.
6) A number of Obama's blind defenders do not care if he himself is a terrorist.
See, because they hate McBush III more than they hate terrorists.
