A New Theory on Climate Change?

Headline: UW-Milwaukee Study Could Realign Climate Change Theory -
Scientists Claim Earth Is Undergoing Natural Climate Shift

How dare these "scientists" come up with an alternative theory on climate change. Don't they know the debate is over? Don't they listen to Al Gore and Barack Obama?

These quacks need to be silenced, like all those other scientists were during the Bush/Cheney/Hitler years.

Gil- Are you referring to the scientists that Bush/Cheney silenced by firing them, replacing them with lobbyists in the EPA and suppressing their findings?

Dr. Julie Gerberding
Officials with the White House Council on Environmental Quality and Cheney’s office intervened to delete some six pages of Dr. Gerberding’s testimony that dealt with human health concerns related to climate change

AND
Robin Ingle
a former statistician with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, said the commission refused to warn the public about gross problems with products like all-terrain vehicles even when research made clear how dangerous they were. "A political appointee at my agency prevented my research on all-terrain-vehicle safety from reaching the public, even when deaths and injuries occurred," she said.

Don't have the name, but I found this one...
In another example, a microbiologist at the U.S. Department of Agriculture was prevented 11 times from publicizing his research about the dangers of bacteria in the air near massive pig farms in Iowa and Missouri - a big business that supplies America's pork. His research found that the bacteria are resistant to antibiotics. But his supervisor refused to allow him to discuss his results, saying in one memo to him: "politically sensitive and controversial issues require discretion."

But I got to admit that memo urging "discretion" sure was scary.

Gil- Here are some firings.

Dr. Deborah Rice, a top toxicologist for the state of Maine, who was fired as chair of an EPA advisory panel evaluating the safety of the neurotoxic fire retardant, known as Deca.

or how about:

Following months of internal bickering over Mary Gade's interactions with Dow, the administration forced her to quit as head of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Midwest office, based in Chicago.

Gade told the Tribune she resigned after two aides to national EPA administrator Stephen Johnson took away her powers as regional administrator and told her to quit or be fired by June 1.

Sorry Bob 1, I don't see what all-terrain vehicle safety, pig bacteria, and fire retardants have to do with the Democrats global warming scam. Sometimes bureaucrats have personnel issues. That doesn't mean they are persecuted.
Gore, Kerrey, et al, ridicule and condescendingly dismiss anyone who expresses any doubts about their Chicken Little scenario. And the fact is that a growing number of scientists and citizens are beginning to understand what a monumental fraud the whole global warming scam is.

Jake - The Bush policy was to remove non-partisan scientific recomendations and conclusons and replace them with politics and lobbying insiders.
The bush admin refused to even open EPA that went against the industries they were protecting.

Facts are stubborn things.

"The White House in December refused to accept the Environmental Protection Agency’s conclusion that greenhouse gases are pollutants that must be controlled, telling agency officials that an e-mail message containing the document would not be opened, senior E.P.A. officials said last week.

The document, which ended up in e-mail limbo, without official status, was the E.P.A.’s answer to a 2007 Supreme Court ruling that required it to determine whether greenhouse gases represent a danger to health or the environment, the officials said."

Instead of "Chicken Little", you stop being ostrichs sticking your heads in the sand.

The Al Gore Doomsday Clock is set at 6 years, 10 months, 7 days, 22 hours, depending on blog approval time.
So Bob 1, have you stopped saving for retirement and started spending your children's inheritance? After all, no one will be around after this global warming Armageddon.
Call me an ostrich, but I won't be the guy eating crow in 6 years, 10 months, 7 days, and 22 hours.
