Obama Losing White Support

According to a recent Pew poll, President Obama is "struggling with white voters." But make no mistake, he isn't losing white support because he is black. He is losing white support because he is a spendthrift, liberal Democrat.

During the campaign he tried to sound like a moderate Democrat and a uniter. He has not governed like a moderate. He has governed like a big government liberal. He is in trouble with white voters for the same reason Democrats lost the House in the last election and seats in the Senate. Whites, especially white males, think the federal government is too big, too busy, too profligate, and too intrusive. Obama made it more so.

It is also true, that President Obama is losing support among black voters. Though overall, his black support remains very high (85 percent), it has to be through the roof to make-up for his loses among whites come 2012. That is to say any slippage in black turn-out could prove deadly to the president's reelection chances. Which explains his recent suck-up to race-hustler Al Sharpton, a man he avoided during his 2008 campaign.

Amazingly you called AL Sharpton a race hustler. When your whole artical is pure Race Hustling. You stated that Obama is losing white support and then you added that he loss some black support, Why couldn't you just say that Obama is losing support, I'll tell you because you are Race Hustling.

I would like to specify that he is losing white left wing leaning Demoncrats. He is slowly losing the middle of the road Independent black voters.
He never had the white right wing leaning elephants.

Presumable,
You do know that the President is half white, right? He only used his half black side to get into prestigious schools and things.

So if the President can choose which is better for him, I guess other folks can to. To be clear, I did not vote for him in 2008, nor will I vote for him in 2012. Already my vote is decided. Not for a Republican/Tea Party/Libratarian male or female, my vote will be against this man/guy/gentleman that currently holds the office!

Hello Dan, I do believe that you are the man, but I have a problem dicerning whether you are a rational man because voting against someone and not knowing who you will be voting for is like walking across a three lane highway with a blindfold on. remember a bird in a hand is worth more than two in a bush.

Dan - even if you determine that the opposing candidate is less capable than the current? That makes no sense at all.

Presumable shouldn't that be "two in a Bush"?

Of the many recipes that the blender masters, one of the best is creating an excellent fruit shake. They strive to always include the latest technologies and increase their products as requested through the consumers they serve. To open you pull top edges apart at the center.
