IF they can find the issue that makes them light themselves on fire. GM will buy them all back if you so choose!!  The CEO, Dan Akerson, insists the Volts are safe. He conceded that the fires may cause some potential buyers to shy away from the Volt. (Ya Think?) But he added that GM is trying to get the message out that they happened only after extreme tests.(Even though one happened in a garage after it was plugged in parked for 7 hours)  Akerson also stressed that standard gas engine cars also have problems with fires after crashes.  (But missed that these happened after being parked in the garage overnight, and one 7 days after it crashed!)  Don't let the facts stop the spin.
