Truth is Not an Option

Oops, former Sen. Phil Gramm is in trouble for telling the truth.
He called America "... a nation of whiners" and said we are in a "mental recession," not an actual one.

Amity Shlaes says he's right.

But no matter. This is campaign season and telling the truth is discouraged if not forbidden by both candidates. Get used to it.

So the Black Candidate can call rural whites hicks who cling to their guns and religion –that’s ok- but this guy can’t speak the truth and say that Americans are a bunch of spoiled babies who have fallen for all the election year inflated doom & gloom engineered by the Left to keep everyone dissatisfied?

Yep, PC run amok …with a little Racial Double Standard thrown in.

"You figured it out. All those people losing their mortgages are paid actors."

I wonder if Diano means "losing their houses."

Nobody minds losing their mortgage.

There should be a law. You should be able to keep your house even if you don't pay your mortgage. When Obama is president, it will be the first law he and a Democratic Congress will pass. Happy Days are here again.

Attention Spencerblog posters:

If you post a comment and you are caught saying something stupid, taking down the comment and reposting a corrected version to pretend you never made the mistake in the first place is lame.

If you can't stand being corrected, or admitting to a mistake well, be more careful.

Such white-washing will be deleted, as it was above.

Clarification:

This rule will apply only in cases where a post has actually been responded to. If you can remove a comment that reveals stupidity or needs correcting before it has been responded to... more power to you. Otherwise, you must take your medicine.
