It's Medication Time
This isn't your typical story of a nurse assaulting a handicapped client.
It seems Madeline Michelle Riegler, 50, of Colwyn, couldn't do anything right for her demanding boss, a quadraplegic, so she allegedly tried to calm her down instead by slipping her a Vicodin with her morning coffee.
Noticing a powdery residue in her cup, the client accused the nurse of trying to poison her. Then she called the cops.
Reigler is now charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment and neglect of care for a dependent person.
Fair enough.
Reigler says she just got tired of being criticized all the time, accused of stealing things, and yelled at to do things she'd already done.
Now there's a justification for slipping somebody a mickey.
Here's a better response: "I quit!"
